Scramble Astro Command 1980s Retro Game
One of the best tabletop games from the 80s.
Some would say on par or better than Astro Wars.
"A must for retro game lovers!" This is an accurate conversion from that retro vintage classic from the early 1980s brought forward to the 21st Century.
Scramble by Grandstand and Astro Command by Epoch, Radio Shack and many other companies in the 80s are all the same game but in a different shell with a different name.
Every detail of the original tabletop classic has been faithfully emulated.
All the sounds - that flickering neon look vacuum fluorescent display, and all those waves of attacks - its all here!
It is an almost perfect replica.
We would say its 97% accurate.
Some things have been altered slightly due to the nature of mobile devices.
Our Astro Wars and Galaxy Invader retro emulations have been enjoyed well and this too has had the same treatmentTravel back to your childhood with this vintage retro arcade classic!

What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about this Android app.
"To the Developer: THANK YOU for bringing this to Android!! ▬ I have some key issues with it though... ►PORTRAIT MODE: this is a bad viewing mode to play the game in - it limits you to smaller graphics and a smaller area for your thumbs/fingers to press the D-pad (direction control) and attack buttons. Also bad: you've added LARGE link buttons at the bottom of the screen, effectively shrinking the visibility of the game even further. ►CONTROL RESPONSIVENESS: I actually have owned this game as a kid and I distinctly remember the controls being more responsive when moving the ship about. There is no reason the D-pad should take 4-5 taps to move the ship in any single direction...... or perhaps maybe it's just a glitch or a bug? ▬ Now, I have some humble suggestions/requests... ►LANDSCAPE MODE (no-skin): place the D-pad (left of screen), attacks (right of screen), 'select' (upper left of screen), and 'start' (upper right of screen) ►Dedicated options screen ►Dedicated "About Game/Developer" screen; you can place company's links here ►Optional smooth-scrolling star/particle background; simple... no need to be fancy ►Increased sprite glow ►Optional echo sound effects and soundtrack"
"Great game just like the original one, still gives me that buzz when I used to borrow the game out of my brothers bedroom, when he was at school. :D."
"This takes me back 30+ years. Fantastic! I was the only one of my friends to have it and at 2p ago, I became very popular and relatively rich for an 8 year old. Brilliant recreation...even the music! Landscape fulls screen would be my only wish, but THANK YOU!"
"This game gave me many years of happiness when I got it one Christmas... Very accurate emulation on this."
"Had to get it had the game when I was 12 still had it until it broke 8 years ago also would like to know how do you enable landscape mode would play better if I had that"
